How to set Table for Breakfast

It's beautiful to be a good cook but how you present the food makes a whole lot of sense to your guest, friends or family members.

Trust me!

This is also part of the prim-proper you need to have at your finger tips. It's an art. However small or elaborate. Make your table setting simple and elegant.

First thing first!

Your table, except patterned, carved or glass aesthetic tables, has to be laid . Preferably, with a white-ironed cotton sheet. It gives you a classy look with a touch of orderliness. It  makes a whole lot of difference.

Then follow the suggested basic table setting (suitable for breakfast only) below:
  1. A plate placed in the center
  2. A bread and butter plate placed at the top left of the plate
  3. A cereal / salad bowl can be placed on top of the plate (if needed)
  4. A fork placed on the direct left of the plate
  5. A knife and soup spoon placed on the direct right of the plate (the cutting edge of the knife should face the plate)
  6. A napkin folded to the left of the fork
  7. A drinking glass placed directly above the spoon and knife
  8. A coffee / tea cup and saucer to the right of the drinking glass
Don't forget! It is not as important to follow set of rules, put your creativity and ideas to work. Consider group table setting, room setting, number of people that would at the table and availability of food to others, as well as the sort of food that's being served.
